INTEC appoints new coordinator of the Center for Government, Enterprise and Society (CEGES)

The Economist Vladimir Camilo Pimentel Florenzan is incorporated into Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) as coordinator of the Center of Government, Company and Society (CEGES), assigned to the Area of ​​Economy and Business, replacing Dr. Armando Barrios Ross, who is the new dean of that academic area.

Pimentel Florenzán is lEconomics by the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), with Masters in Corporate Finance, in INTEC and in Social Processes and Economic Policies, from the University of the Basque Country. He has a solid professional career in studies and research in public and private entities being adviser y consultant in economic matters, international business and investments, for entities such as the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development (UNCTAD), United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Caribbean Export Development Agency, Dominican Association of Exporters, among many others.

Additionally, he has vast experience in academic and research coordination as well as teaching in several universities, being part of the INTEC Economics and Business consultants body since 2016

The CEGES, through the research, advice and Development integrates a holistic vision in the relationship of the gobierno, the company and society in the interest of continuing with the important contributions made by this Center for the strengthening of the Governance in our country, the dynamics of entrepreneurship and the implications and actions of society as a whole.
