INTEC will develop exchange programs with the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) of Mexico
SANTO DOMINGO. The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) and the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), of Mexico, will develop un extensive program de exchanges which will benefit students y teachers of both academies.
This is how the two agreements signed by rector of the INTEC, Rolando M. Guzmán and managing Director de IPN, Mario Alberto Rodriguez Casas, which establishes that students will be able to carry out academic stays and research projects.. The signing event was attended Ismael Ramirez Jaimes, professor for the Higher School of Engineers Architects (ESIA) of the IPN.
The specific agreement regarding students indicates that both degree such as postgraduate, they can do the exchange for a semester y extend el period of stay with a prior evaluation. In addition, it contemplates that each of the universities will send and accept a minimum of five students by semester.
The university of origin will be in charge of selecting the exchange students, in accordance with the requirements of the receiving institution, authorizing the academic courses that the beneficiaries will take, and sending the academic records of the applicants.
Exchange of teachers
About the ispare parts of the teachers, the agreement indicates that they will have the possibility of developing research activities, stays e teaching courses, workshops y graduates or any other activity inherent to its functions.
As contemplated in the document, they were designated as responsible for promoting the adequate development of the activities established on the Director of the ESIA of Tecamachalco, teacher Ricardo Rivera Rodriguez, representing the IPN, and the teacher Derby Lionel Gonzalez, professor of Engineering Area by INTEC.
