INTEC celebrates Seminar on Transmedia Journalism
SANTO DOMINGO. The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) celebrated his IV Seminar on Scientific Journalism and with a video conference about the topic "Transmedia journalism: a cross-sectional way of telling stories", Given by the teacher Jesús Moreno, Antonio de Nebrija University y Director of Product Development of Atresmedia Digital, Spain.
The activity, which organizes Institutional Communication Department with support from the Research, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Division INTEC, had the 45 participation representatives of newspapers, digital media, radio and television stations, and the communication offices of different institutions.
The opening of the seminar was in charge of the Vice Chancellor of Research and Liaison, Víctor Gómez-Valenzuela, and had the participation of the director of the Research Division, Andrea Paz and the director of Institutional Communication, Adriana Del Conte.
Moreno Pascual is Director of Product Development at Atresmedia Digital and specializes in new media, Internet, content, online marketing, business development, product development, social media and the media in general. In addition, for 10 years he served as deputy director of Contents at Antena 3 Multimedia in the television area.
At present, he works as a professor of the master's degree in Digital Journalism at the Antonio de Nebrija University, Spain, which is taught under the auspices of Atresmedia.
The participants learned about what transmedia is, what are some of the best tools for doing transmedia and the opportunities it offers for journalism.
Four years ago, INTEC started the Scientific Journalism seminars as a meeting space for updating social communication issues, helping to strengthen a journalistic class that is increasingly sensitive to the coverage of science and technology issues, and at the same time To promote the use of tools that enrich the work and reach different audiences more effectively.
Other objectives of the seminar are to cite to form a critical mass of journalists with an interest in practicing science journalism, to bring journalists closer to university sources of research and knowledge so that citizens receive higher quality information on science.
