INTEC opens call for PIES 2025 Scholarships for STEM careers
From February 4 to April 5, students from all over the country will be able to apply for PIES Scholarships to pursue their university career at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo
SANTO DOMINGO. - Outstanding students from schools and colleges across the country can choose to study at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) eleven careers related to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) that make up the scholarship offer of the INTEC Program with Outstanding Students (PIES) for 2025.
The call for PIES 2025 Scholarships opened on Tuesday, February 4 and will close on Saturday, April 5 of this year. The degrees to choose from are: Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Communications Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Sciences, Bachelor's Degree in Financial Engineering, Bachelor's Degree in Economics, and Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology.
INTEC promotes STEM careers with its PIES Scholarship program in a strategic effort to train the professionals most in demand in the country and the world, who will be key to economic development, innovation and global competitiveness.
Since its creation in 1987, the program has benefited more than 3,000 high school graduates, thanks to the support of companies and institutions. Applicants must complete the form at www.intec.edu.do/admisiones/becas and send the required documents to the email
The call is aimed at final year high school students or those who have recently graduated, with a minimum average of 90 points in key subjects.
