INTEC: 46 years inspiring lives
SANTO DOMINGO. - The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) arrived today at their 46 years, and despite the threats of rain, the community of teachers, students and collaborators of the Colmena received a truce to celebrate, as it has traditionally done in their "little forest", for the achievements achieved. For the first time in an anniversary act, a student had the opportunity to address the collaborators and authorities of the university. Maite Duquela, President of the Economics Students CommitteeHe thanked all those who make INTEC's existence possible and the institution for opening the doors to thousands of students.
“INTEC is more than going to class, more than taking an exam… for me INTEC is my second home. Here I have developed initiatives in subjects that I am passionate about and have given me the opportunity to represent my colleagues in an academic and administrative manner ”, the young woman highlighted.
"INTEC gives you a true education that it is not only about transmitting teachings, but about to inspire a learn, grow, discover you, to discover our capabilities, skills, passions e interests that we would never have imagined that we already had to develop ourselves from all possible areas ”, said Maité, very excited.
Duquela pointed out that INTEC not only gives guidelines to students for their professional training, but also support and it allows them build su own way.

“In 33 years I never woke up with the idea in my head, or with a feeling in my heart that told me that I had to leave INTEC. The rector of INTEC, Rolando M. Guzman, had the closing words of the act, in which he highlighted those that in his opinion are the main attributes a intent. He concluded his words with the statement that working for INTEC today is working for the future of our children, and for the future of our children's children, and called on those present to keep that premise in mind constantly.
