Special class schedule during 2010 Intecnology
From 17 to 19 in November, INTEC will have a special schedule of classes for the celebration of its fair "Intecnologia 2010".
The objective is to facilitate the participation of students in the different conferences and activities included in the fair's calendar.

The sixth version of Intecnología, promises to immerse the campus in a French cultural environment, since this year the guest country will be France, with the support of the French Alliance, the French-Dominican Chamber of Commerce and Campus France. Cineforums, exhibitions and talks prepare the campus and the teams that work on prototypes for the technology and culture festival that INTEC celebrates each year.
This year there are scheduled 17 conferences, three concerts to close each night and five competitions. Some competitions have been organized for months and the winners will be rewarded during the fair, such as the Business Plans Competition, of national character and promoted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT); another is the First Project Competition, which this year will allow the display of 25 prototypes in which an equal number of intecian teams have worked. Other contests in which students actively participate are the competition of Solid Work, Robots and Projects of the Schools that visit us, which this year are the San Judas Tadeo School, the SEK Las Americas, Saint Patrick School, Santa Teresita and the Lux Mundi.
Among the main attractions of the 2010 is the exhibition of the design of the first Formula SAE car, created by INTEC students. This model will participate in the global competition for students held annually by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), in Michigan, USA, and consists of the manufacture of a prototype racing car type Formula 1, but under rules and conditions that make them different The intecianos involved in the project have the advice of Manuel Pool, coordinator of Mechanics and María Penkova, in charge of the Mechanical Laboratory.
Through Facebook and Twitter, those interested can follow the process of "warming up" and participate in a surprise contest that will shortly raffle a laptop. Other prizes will be hard disks of 250 GB, MP3, picture frames, routers, DockIpod and a video camera.
