Choose your Outstanding INTEC Graduate
SANTO DOMINGO. The graduates of the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) have until next Tuesday September 22 to choose the candidates of their choice for the Outstanding Prize of INTEC 2015, whose ninth delivery ceremony will be held in November.
The INTEC, through the Office of Relations with Graduates of the Institutional Communication Department, calls vote for one of the 44 candidates and candidates that considers with merits to receive the award in each of the academic areas represented. Voting begins after the end of the application phase, which was done through an open call to people and institutions.
This year 15 of the postulates belong to the Engineering Area; 12 to Health Sciences; 11 to the Business Area and six to the Social Sciences and Humanities.
Electronic voting will be done through the portal www.intec.edu.do/egresados. The vote of the graduates counts as one that adds to the votes of the jury of the prize, integrated by authorities, professors and personalities of the national life.
The winners of the Outstanding 2015 Award will be presented at an 5 awards gala next November at the Hotel El Embajador.
INTEC initiated the delivery of the Outstanding Alumni Award in the 2007 year, as a recognition to its graduates who have performed successfully in their respective areas and whose business, cultural, political, sports and / or academic contributions (in the field of research) , the bibliographic production and in general the scientific, technological, artistic or literary creation) have or have had a trajectory with evident social impact, showing in their performance attachment to values, justice and human solidarity, attributes that make them worthy of be qualified as a proud inter-cyclists.
Throughout its eight deliveries has recognized a total of 421 graduates in the areas of Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Engineering and Business. 2014 received the award from doctors Jaime David Fernández Mirabal and Víctor Elías Atallah from the Health Sciences Area; Father Mario Serrano Marte from the Area of Social Sciences and Humanities; Engineer Francina Hungary from the Engineering Area; Dr. Pavel Isa Contreras and Mr. Luis Abinader from the Business Area.
