INTEC graduates will be able to do an internship at INTRANT
This is contemplated in a collaboration agreement signed by both entities with the objective of encouraging actions of an educational and scientific nature, aimed at promoting the continuous improvement of the quality of life of society and the sustained development of the country.
SANTO DOMINGO. – Graduates of Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) will be able to carry out internships at the National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (INTRANT), as provided for in a collaboration agreement signed by both institutions in which the bases were established for carrying out academic activities in areas of mutual interest.
The agreement signed by the rector of INTEC, Julio Sánchez Maríñez; and the honorary executive director of INTRANT, Randolfo Oniel Rijo Gómez contemplates collaboration in joint research activities, participation in seminars, courses, workshops and other academic activities, the exchange of academic and scientific documents, the implementation of joint training programs, joint publications, and the development of a scholarship program.
In addition, the agreement indicates that institutional visits will be made for undergraduate, graduate and continuing education students and technologies and methodologies will be used for the dissemination of national scientific-technical production.
The main purpose of the agreement is collaboration in teaching, research, training activities, dissemination of culture and extension of services, in order to optimize resources and achieve the institutional objectives of both entities.
For the execution and monitoring of the agreement, a Joint Commission has been appointed composed of Víctor González, full professor in the Engineering Area of INTEC, and engineer Alma Vargas, Interim Director of Planning and Development of INTRANT.
