 SANTO DOMINGO. - The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) held the Final Seminar of the second cohort of the Master's Degree in Educational Innovation under the title "Educational Innovation in Action: Transforming Education for the Future", an event that brought together students, teachers and experts committed to the educational revolution in the Dominican Republic.

In his opening words, Dalul Ordehi, Dean of the Social Sciences and Humanities Area of ​​INTEC, highlighted the importance of innovation as a tool to facilitate learning processes. “Innovation is the key to opening the doors to more meaningful and relevant learning. The future is not a distant horizon, the future is not tomorrow, the future is today, in every classroom, in every teaching moment," she said.

The Seminar began with the keynote address by Santiago Gallur, coordinator of the doctorates of Communication and Education in Virtual Environments y social Sciences, who addressed the current state of educational innovation in the country.

The exhibitions presented by the graduates of the master's degree in Educational Innovation They glimpsed the future of education, presenting projects such as the creative use of podcasts and online radio to improve English language skills, innovative gamification strategies applied to home learning, and teacher training programs focused on the effective use of Technological tools.

The conversation with distinguished graduate Eddy Frank Vásquez was an opportunity to learn first-hand how the program transforms pedagogical perspectives and practices.

The event concluded with a series of additional presentations that addressed the design of guides, programs and digital repositories aimed at strengthening reading comprehension, the teaching-learning process and the application of technologies to improve education at various educational levels.

Katherine Mejía, academic coordinator of the Program, provided closing remarks, highlighting INTEC's continued commitment to educational innovation and thanking all participants for their invaluable contribution to this event. "Let us remember that innovation lies not only in the tools we use, but in the mentality with which we embrace change and continuous adaptation. Let us continue to be agents of change in our educational communities, taking the inspiration of today towards the action of tomorrow" , she expressed.

Susana Doñé, head of the INAFOCAM Postgraduate Department, congratulated the Master's graduates and invited them to continue developing their proposals and knowledge with other teachers in order to increase interest in innovating in education.

“This Final Seminar has been an inspiring and motivating space that has demonstrated the transformative power of educational innovation in the Dominican Republic,” was one of the conclusions of Mejía, who in his speech encouraged the participants to forge a path towards a better education. more inclusive, dynamic and relevant for future generations.
