Eaton and INTEC present pioneering program to boost talent development in Supply Chain in the Dominican Republic

SANTO DOMINGO - As part of its commitment to talent development, innovation, and strengthening professional capabilities in the country, Eaton and the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) announced the Eaton Supply Chain Innovation Academy by INTEC program, a training initiative designed to enhance the strategic, analytical and leadership skills required in modern supply chain management.

The program stems from the long-standing alliance between the two institutions, with the aim of bringing academic knowledge closer to the real challenges of the industry, creating a learning space that combines global best practices in the supply chain with experiences applied to the business environment.

The academy will offer participants the opportunity to develop knowledge in key areas such as planning, strategic sourcing, logistics, operations, inventory management, innovation, data analysis and continuous improvement, thus strengthening the capabilities that organizations demand today in a global environment.

"We firmly believe that talent development is one of the fundamental pillars for building the future of our operations and our industry. This alliance with INTEC represents an investment in people, knowledge, and the creation of new capabilities that will contribute to the sustainable growth of our organization and our country," said Pamela Infante, Leader of Eaton's Center of Excellence.

Meanwhile, INTEC Rector Arturo Del Villar expressed the university's satisfaction at having strategic partners who believe in education as a means to achieve social transformation. “The competitiveness of the Dominican Republic will depend, to a large extent, on our ability to have professionals prepared to manage increasingly sophisticated, integrated, and data-driven operations. This alliance with Eaton allows us to connect specialized training with real industry needs and contribute to strengthening a fundamental area for the country's productive growth,” he stated.

The creation of the Eaton Supply Chain Innovation Academy by INTEC is part of Eaton's strategic vision to build a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and operational excellence. It also aligns with the university's institutional objectives of responding to the needs of the productive sector. With this initiative, Eaton and INTEC reaffirm their commitment to developing highly qualified talent and creating opportunities that boost competitiveness, employability, and the country's economic development.
