Discovering a new health from Bioethics

SANTO DOMINGO. The international specialist and expert on issues of law, ethics and bioethics, Juan Camilo Salas, gave the conference "New approaches to health from the perspective of Bioethics", which was organized by the INTEC Center for Bioethics, the Bioethics Committee of the General Hospital Plaza de la Salud and the pharmaceutical GML Dominicana.

The activity, which took place in the Doctor Bienvenido Delgado Billini conference room of the Plaza de la Salud General Hospital, had the participation of the medical staff of that health center, INTEC Health Sciences teachers, representatives of the Dominican College of Bioanalysts and the National Bioethics Commission.

In his presentation, Salas addressed key data from the emergence of medicine, linked to education as a master physician, up to the emergence of bioethics and its role in situations of clinical uncertainty that present themselves today.

When referring to the event, the coordinator of the INTEC Center for Bioethics, Dr. Miguel Suazo, indicated that it is one of the many activities that the institutions organize with the interest of deepening around the subject of bioethics and the training of clinical staff.
