Academic-scientific cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Mines

Through an agreement signed by the Minister of Energy and Mines, Pelegrín Castillo and the Rector of INTEC, Rolando Guzmán, both institutions pledged to promote inter-institutional cooperation, as well as reciprocal communication, through the reinforcement of research and education programs.

Knowledge exchange between INTEC professors, researchers and students with professionals and technicians from the Ministry is also foreseen. Said agreement seeks to contribute to the economic and social improvement of the population in the areas of Energy and Mining.

The Minister of Energy and Mines and the Rector of INTEC will sign individual agreements, in order to identify the projects that will be executed.

Through this agreement, the MEM and INTEC undertake to guarantee the participation of professors and technicians in the project, to exchange bibliography, as well as experiences in the management of previous projects, to the implementation of research programs and projects. technology and in the use of laboratories and facilities, in order to carry out joint research works, focused on the project that is the object of the agreement in question.

The Ministry of Energy and Mines has signed an agreement of cooperation for academic purposes, with the Technological Institute of the Americas, the Dominican Association of Professional Graduates of Russia, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Cuba and the Society of Bibliophiles.

These agreements seek to raise the knowledge of the population, as well as professionals in the areas of Energy and Mining, in order for the country to achieve energy security, as well as responsible, sustainable and transparent mining.
