Five universities participate in the First Interuniversity Rally organized by INTEC


Five university teams participated in the First Interuniversity Rally "Ruta del Saber Creativo", celebrated by the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) last Sunday on its campus.

Students from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), the National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), the APEC University, the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and the INTEC answered questions, solved riddles and overcame challenges by the campus on nature issues , water, woman and communication.

The first place was won by Ulasd Advertising students Eladio de Paula and Iván Rodríguez, who received a license plate, a USB and RD $ 8,000 in bonuses for purchases at Grupo Ramos companies.

The second place was obtained by the students who represented INTEC, Gabriela Sanabria, Christian Martínez and Wennibis Mercedes. As recognition they obtained a USB each and a plate.

The third place was won by those who represented the UNPHU, who received a recognition plaque and a souvenir from INTEC.

The activity was organized by the students of the subject of Creativity and Innovation, given by Mabel Artidiello Moreno, from the Area of ​​Social Sciences and Humanities, who coordinated this initiative.

Artidiello Moreno stressed that the objective of this initiative is to strengthen the students / participants a creative mentality, their instinct for innovation. "Just dedicating a little time to logical thinking as a side in the resolution of problems can offer significant answers to different situations and that was evident in the quality of the answers," he said. In addition to the coordinator, Migdalia Martínez, Dean of Social Sciences and Humanities, Elsa López, Deputy Dean of the Area, Professor Dulce Cabrera and Karen Ostreicher, representative of Free Water participated in the activity.

The First Interuniversity Rally "Ruta del Saber Creativo" of INTEC was sponsored by Grupo Ramos (La Sirena and Supermarket Pola), Free Water, Refesa SRL, Induspalma, the Panalito Café of INTEC and Ambev.

This type of activity allows developing different competences of university students, recognizing their possibilities and limitations of acting and is a form of interaction between different institutions of higher education to promote fraternity and solidarity among universities.
