They will celebrate National Day of the Mercadólogo


Santo Domingo. Representatives of nine universities, members of the Dominican Association of Marketing Schools, ADOEM, met at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, INTEC, in order to refine the details of the formation of the association and its objectives.

The association, which brings together the marketing schools of the main universities of the country, will celebrate the next 1 in October the National Day of the Mercadólogo with an act in UNIBE.

The directors and coordinators of the Marketing career of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), the Universidad Domínico-Americana (UNICDA), from the Universidad Catolica Tecnológica del Cibao (UCATECI), the APEC University (UNAPEC), the Universidad del Caribe (UNICARIBE) and the Catholic University of Santo Domingo (UCSD) visited the INTEC campus at the end of June.

As an academic entity, its vision is to be an organization that promotes the transformation of knowledge, aimed at improving the quality and image of the marketing professional, assuming ethics and social responsibility as behavior patterns to follow. The main objectives of the ADOEM are:

a) Promote the study of Marketing in the Dominican Republic and group together the different higher education schools that teach this career at the undergraduate and postgraduate level;
b) Organize conferences, forums, congresses and similar events oriented to the dissemination and knowledge of Marketing;
c) Participate in events organized by other national and international institutions related to Marketing;
d) Promote and sponsor the publication of books, magazines or other publications on Marketing, its dissemination through audiovisual and computer media;
e) Celebrate agreements, scientific research contracts and integrate study groups on specific topics related to Marketing;
f) Maintain contact, lines of cooperation and exchange with other similar or related entities, national and international, and oriented to the development of Marketing; Y
g) In general, carry out all kinds of activities aimed at the development and promotion of Marketing in the country.
