Ceara Hatton and Guarocuya Félix discuss government programs at INTEC

The representatives of the PRD and the PLD expose the government programs of their respective parties

Santo Domingo. The economists Miguel Ceara Hatton, of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD) and Guarocuya Félix, of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), presented the proposals of the Government Program of their respective parties in the fields of economy, society and the environment in the "Third Permanent Seminar on Economics, Development and Environment (SPEDA)".

The activity sought to favor in an academic space the debate on the content of the proposals of the Government of both political parties, the main candidates for the presidency of the Dominican Republic for the 2012-2016 period.

The third edition of SPEDA is organized by the Business Area of ​​the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), from where similar meetings to this one are held monthly to strengthen training in economics and facilitate student participation.

The first seminar dealt with inflation goals; the second, the evaluation of the five years since DR-CAFTA was implemented; and the third on Green Economy.
