Welcome to graduate students
SANTO DOMINGO. The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) celebrated the welcome and induction ceremony for new students of postgraduate level programs, who begin their studies in the current quarter August-October in the Ravelo de la Fuente Hall.
The welcome ceremony is a first approach with university authorities that includes important guidance on academic and administrative aspects of the university, which will allow students to insert themselves in a more efficient way to their studies.
During the course of the program, the Academic Vice Chancellor José Feliz highlighted the role of INTEC as a pioneer in the offer of postgraduate programs and emphasized that the university has 38 active programs in the area. The hundreds of new postgraduate students entered the institution for seven programs, most notably the Specialty in Clinical Nutriology with a new 220 participants.
He indicated that this program, the only one of its kind in the country, has positioned itself within the national medical class for the quality of the teaching staff and for a cutting-edge content "at a time when a better quality of life is promoted from the diet healthy and balanced ". He reminded newcomers of the international mobility opportunities available to enrich their educational experience.
Alba Henríquez, Executive Director of Postgraduate, emphasized on the information contained in the Welcome Manual, in which students will find relevant data on academic regulations, student services, financial information, directory and selection procedure, in addition, on history, philosophy and INTEC Strategy.
Other programs that started are the Master in Banking and Values, the Specialty and Master in Human Resource Management with an international certification that will award the IESA of Venezuela in Organizational Development; the Master's Degree in Public Investment Management, with a double degree from INTEC with the Training Institute in Public Administration (ICAP) of Costa Rica and the Master's Degree in Management of Educational Centers.
