ADRU recognizes former rectors in ordinary assembly

Santo Domingo.- Representatives of different entities of higher education in the Dominican Republic met on the morning of Thursday, April 28, in the ordinary assembly of the Association of Rectors of Universities, ADRU.

At the meeting, the directors of the association signed an agreement with the General Directorate of Public Procurement (DGCP) and issued recognition plates, as emeritus members to Dr. Franklin Gracía Fermín, former rector of UASD and to Major General Luis Ramón Payán Araché, former rector of INSUDE.

The universities UNAPEC, UAPA, UTE, INTEC, UCNE, UNIBE, UCATECI, ITECO, ISA, UCATEBA, ITLA and INSUDE were represented by their receivers, and UNPHU, UCE, O&M and UNICDA by their vice-rectors.
