INTEC opens registration for the 5K BEE Part
SANTO DOMINGO – The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) invites the entire INTEC community and the general public to be part of the 5K Bee Part, a sporting and family experience that calls for reuniting with friends, classmates, teachers and INTEC generations who share the same history.
The event has been designed for runners, walkers, children, adults and outdoor enthusiasts who want to enjoy a different, dynamic and purposeful experience.
The activity will be held next Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 7:30 in the morning, in the National Botanical Garden, an ideal setting to experience a morning full of energy, reunions, music, well-being and memorable moments with the family.
In addition to promoting health and integration, this initiative has a charitable purpose, as 10% of the funds raised will be allocated to the INTEC Program with Outstanding Students (PIES), an initiative that provides university training opportunities in STEM to talented young people from all over the country.
Registration is now open and spaces are limited. Tickets will be available through Santo Domingo Tickets, with a cost of RD$1,750 for adults and RD$750 for children. Each registration includes an official participant kit, a finisher's pin upon completion of the course, hydration, and access to special activities prepared for the whole family.
The distribution of kits will take place on June 18 and 19 at the INTEC campus, and also on the day of the event at the National Botanical Garden before the start of the day.
With the 5K Bee Part, INTEC strengthens ties with its community and creates spaces where well-being, solidarity and a sense of belonging take center stage.
For more information, those interested can follow the social media accounts of @egresadosintecrd and prepare to live an experience that promises to leave its mark both inside and outside the tour.
