INTEC Science and Health Magazine receives indexing in LILACS


SANTO DOMINGO. - The magazine academic Science and Health of the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) received the Indexing en Lilacs (Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences), an online bibliographic information database that covers all the literature in the health area, produced by authors from Latin America and published in the countries of the region from from 1982.

Science and Health it's a magazine quarterly of scientific dissemination and dissemination of the Dominican Republic, whose objective is to disseminate and disseminate the research carried out by the scientific community of the Dominican Republic in the area of Health Sciences and contributions related to medical education. It is edited from 2017 September, and his editor he is the doctor Elbi Morla, Master of Medicine and Pediatrics.

The journal Ciencia y Salud is also indexed in the Regional Online Information System for Scientific Journals in Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal (LATINDEX), in the Ibero-American Network of Innovation and Scientific Knowledge (REDIB), in the Portal of Dissemination of Hispanic Scientific Production (DIALNET) and in the Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ).

Given the new indexing received by the magazine, Dr. Morla thanked those who, by sending their papers, have made possible “this great place that the magazine has reached. Likewise, to Mr. Fari Rosario, director of Publications of INTEC and his team, and to the Vice-rector for Research and Relations, Víctor Gómez-Valenzuela for their always support ”.

This publication disseminates the scientific production of the Dominican Republic and the region, as well as international contributions, focused on medical sciences, epidemiology, and public health. The thematic focus of the magazine privileges the articles around the medical ethics, nutrition, public health and articles about mevidence-based publishing y medical education.
