INTEC calls for applications for Outstanding Graduate Award 2021


SANTO DOMINGO. The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) opened the call a presentation de candidates y candidates for the delivery of Outstanding Alumni Award 2021 (PED), a recognition professionals of the university that have made notable contributions business, cultural, political, sports or academic and who have performed successfully in their respective areas.

All members of the university community, including their students, professors, collaborators, regents, former regents and graduates, as well as professionals, interested parties, and legally established organizations can submit postulates. Applications for candidatures will be received until Sunday, August 15, filling out the form available online.

In 2019 the award-winners it was the engineers Celso Manuel Pérez González; Hector Alberto Bretón Sánchez; Lourdes Alejandra Aybar Díaz y Milton Welcome Hernández Olmos; the doctors Jose Raymundo Apolinar Jimenez Hernandez y Ryna Karina Then Vargas, and the psychologist Glorianna Cristina Montas Ponciano.

The Outstanding Graduate Award was held annually from 2007 to 2019 when the decision was made to hold the award every two years. The winners of the Outstanding Graduate Award 2021 will be presented at an awards gala to be held next November. The decision of the winners rests on a jury that is made up of academic authorities and recognized people from society, as well as the community of INTEC graduates who vote for their preferred candidates electronically.

The Outstanding Graduate Award was created in 2007 to recognize graduates and graduates who in their actions demonstrate attachment to values, justice and human solidarity, attributes that make them worthy of being qualified as INTEC's pride.

In thirteen deliveries, INTEC has recognized 88 of its graduates in the areas of Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Engineering and Business.
