INTEC will increase face-to-face teaching


SANTO DOMINGO. - The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) will increase la classroom teaching from quarter November 2021- January 2022This was reported by the rectory of the academy in a statement sent to the entire university community.

El rector of the INTEC, Julio Sanchez Marinez, He pointed out that they will also continue to take advantage of "the benefits of inteciano-style virtuality, which we have been perfecting as necessary and convenient."

All of the labs y field practices will work in person, and ten new ones will be added Connected Classrooms, which are classrooms equipped with technological and multimedia resources to ensure that a part of the students in each class receives face-to-face teaching with the teacher, while the rest attend remotely live.

In addition, will increase the amount of face-to-face teaching sections in career subjects. The projection is that almost all the students will have some commitment on campus.

“We continue to fight this pandemic that has forced us to reorganize our operations and take extraordinary measures to guarantee the health and safety of the entire community. We are firmly committed to safeguarding the safety of all our students, faculty, and administrative staff, ”the statement said.

Administrative tasks will also be adjusted to ensure the face-to-face services required by academic work and those areas that are not required in the facilities will be kept in virtual mode.

To attend the campus, it is required to have completed the vaccination schedule (at least two doses), as established by the health authorities. And the current health protocols of the Covid-19 will continue to be applied, mainly the permanent use of a mask, social distancing and frequent hand washing.
