Requesting Documents

Grade record

If it is not for legalization purposes, you should only make the payment for this concept in the Cashier, then deposit the payment receipt with a copy of your ID in the Registration Department. This process takes approximately 8 days.

For legalization purposes, the process is similar to the legalization of the title, since to legalize private documents the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT) requires three documents: grade record, university degree and the certification that demonstrates you have graduated. For more information, contact the Registration Department at Ext. 291.

Legalization of Title

In order to legalize private documents, the Ministerio Educación Superior Ciencia y Tecnología (MESCyT) requires as a requisite to have three documents legalized : grades record, university degree and the certification that demonstrates you have graduated.

If you have never legalized your degree, you must pay for grades record, university degree and the certification that demonstrates you have graduated in the Cash Area of ​​INTEC (for all careers).

If you are a an Engineering alumnus, you must also pay a Certification of the last approved subjects. In the case of Medicine alumnus you must pay for the clinical rotations and boarding rotations (in case it is request, the hourly chart).

You must deposit the payment receipts for these concepts, along with a copy of your title 8 1 / 2 x 11 ", copy of your ID at Registration, who will send these directly to the MESCYT. Duplicate Certificate

To request a Duplicate Certificate, send a request to the Academic Council, through the Registration Department, with any existing proofs that justify the request. After approval, the alumnus will be notified to make the corresponding payments:

  1. In case of loss, the graduate must attach a certification from the Police, where she or he declares it lost.
  2. In case of deterioration, the graduate must deliver the original Title to the Registration Department, who will also evaluate if the procedure should proceed.
  3. If the duplicate is request in case of a name change, the alumnus must attach: a Birth Certificate and all documents deposited at the time of admission to INTEC, clarifying what has to be rectified.
  4. For all cases, a photocopy of the alumnus' national Identity and Electoral Card must be attached.

Certifications

Among the certifications issued by the university are those of:

  • Pensum
  • Alumnus
  • Ranking
  • Workload
  • Letter for the graduation ring
  • Programs (10 days term)
  • Subjects (term of 10 days)

You must make the payment of the certification of your interest in the Cashier and deposit the payment receipt with a copy of your identity card at Registration . This process takes approximately 5 days.

If you need a validation, and you require the Certification of programs and / or Certification of subjects, the process is the same, but it takes 10 days. The Certification of programs is a compendium of all the programs of the subjects studied and the Certification of subjects is a document that describes the content of each subject that the alumnus took in her / his career. Homologation of titles

The legalization of foreign documents is a service offered by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT), which establishes the provisions for this procedure through its website.

Letter of recommendation

You must fill out a Request Form for Letters of Recommendations or Presentations in the Vice-Rector's Office. Recommendation letters are issued to graduates with rates equal to or higher than 3.4.
