Laboratory of Applied and Computational Mathematics
The Applied and Computational Mathematics Laboratory, founded in 2015, is a space created to provide research infrastructure, such as physical space and computational resources, for teachers, students, professionals and researchers around problems that require numerical simulation and mathematical modeling to achieve effective solutions to interdisciplinary problems.
Its objectives are to promote, promote and strengthen research on the application of contemporary mathematics to real problems in the scientific, academic, and social fields and to become a reference at a national and international level in research and training of scientists in Applied Mathematics.
The Laboratory is committed to promoting and supporting research in basic sciences of an interdisciplinary nature and to education and training in applied research.
