Home Automation Laboratory
The Home Automation Laboratory is designed for the development and testing of automation systems in areas such as intelligent lighting, climate control and security systems.
Its activities include the integration of devices using communication networks and protocols such as Zigbee and Wi-Fi, and the development of centralized control platforms. It also focuses on energy management by monitoring electrical consumption and optimizing energy. In addition, it offers solutions for well-being and comfort, such as entertainment systems and room control.
The laboratory also facilitates research projects in collaboration with INTEC professors, providing students with valuable practical experience.
Students can practice with the most modern home equipment and sensors on the market, for doors, windows, appliances, etc. Google Home HUB, Eaton Whole Home Controller, Z-WAVE Smart Universal Regulator, Z-WAVE Wireless Accessory Switch, among others.
