Doctorate in Energy Management for Sustainable Development

The PhD program in Energy Management for Sustainable Development, aims to promote synergies between graduate-level training, scientific research and INTEC mission focus.

This model considers as a fundamental input the needs of the Dominican society, the productive sector and the State, related to the issue of energy: generation, transport and use of energy. Specifically, for the requirements of professional development and solve problems that merit being addressed from the perspective of research, promoting changes towards sustainable models.

Doctoral students, in their thesis or research projects, develop research topics in conjunction with the teaching staff and through interaction with national and international experts, obtaining results that respond to national and regional problems in their field.

Under this conceptualization, the process of training and the functionality of INTEC as Dominican University is transformed. The solution of real problems provides an educational challenge in the training of PhD students.
