Admission Requirements for National and Foreign Transfer Students

Applicants must have approved a minimum of 24 credits, have a minimum index of 2.00 (70 points or more) and must bring the programs of each subject taken signed by the University of origin.

Validated credits will be registered in the student's account to collect (except INTEC graduates).

The requirements of the admission process depend on your nationality and the career to be taken. Then, select according to your condition:

    • Admission request
    • Photocopy of an identity card (both sides)
    • Original official certification of the intermediate level test (this refers to our local exams)
    • Grade record legalized by the Ministerio Educación Superior Ciencia y Tecnología (MESCyT)
    • For common subjects, students must hand in a subject's official program (for its validation)
    • Completed validation request (at the time of deposit)
    • Medical certificate for academic purposes
    • Receipt of Payment of the right to admission (non-refundable)
    • Two portrait photos size 2 x 2 inches
    • Original birth certificate, certified and legalized
    • Receipt of Payment of the PAA test
    • PAA test registration
    • Receipt of Payment of the ELASH test payment (For English leveling)
    • Registration for ELASH test
    • Group interview inscription (only for Psychology, 2 + 2 Programs) *
    • Workshop and test registration (only for Industrial Design) *

    Important

    Convalidations:
    - Applicants must have approved a minimum of 24 credits, have a minimum index of 2.00 (70 points or more) and bring the programs of each subject taken and signed by the University of origin.

    - To validate the premedica, you must have a minimum index of 2.50 points.

    Validated credits will be registered in the student's account to collect (except INTEC graduates).

    Transferred Dominican with Studies Abroad

    • Admission request
    • Photocopy of an identity card (both sides)
    • Original official certification of the intermediate level test (this refers to our local exams)
    • Record of university notes apostilled / legalized Dominican Consulate and Chancellery and later by the MESCyT.
    • For common subjects, students must hand in a subject's official program (for its validation)
    • Completed validation request (at the time of deposit)
    • Medical certificate for academic purposes
    • Receipt of Payment of the right to admission (non-refundable)
    • Two portrait photos size 2 x 2 inches
    • Original birth certificate, certified and legalized
    • Receipt of Payment of the PAA test
    • PAA test registration
    • Receipt of Payment of the ELASH test payment (For English leveling)
    • Registration for ELASH test
    • Group interview inscription (only for Psychology and 2+ 2 Programs)
    • Workshop (only for Industrial Design) and test
    • Photocopy of MCAT Medical College Admission Test (only for Medicine and transferred with premedical)

    Important

    • Documents that are not in Spanish must be translated.
    • Legalizations:
      Member countries of the Hague Convention: If the country of emission belongs to the Agreement, it must make the apostille of the documents and its translations into Spanish in the competent instance of that country.
    • Countries that do NOT belong to the Hague Convention: If the country of issue is NOT within the Hague Convention, you must legalize the documents and their Spanish translations at the Dominican Consulate / Embassy of the country where they were issued and then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Dominican Republic.
    • If the translation is done in the Dominican Republic, it must be done by a judicial interpreter and legalized in the Attorney General Office of the Dominican Republic.

    Transfer ITLA

    • Admission request
    • Receipt of Payment of the right to admission (non-refundable)
    • Two portrait photos size 2 x 2 inches
    • Photocopy of identity card
    • Medical certificate
    • Grade record legalized by the Ministerio Educación Superior Ciencia y Tecnología (MESCyT)
    • Photocopy of university degree legalized by MESCYT
    • Original certified and legalized birth certificate
    • Student with 3.4 index exempted PAA test.
    • Receipt of Payment of the PAA test
    • PAA test registration

    Foreign Transfer

    • Admission request
    • Passport photocopy
    • Photocopy title secondary studies apostilled / legalized Dominican Consulate and Chancellery in the Dominican Republic (See Important Notes)
    • Record of university notes apostilled / legalized Dominican Consulate and Chancellery and later by the MESCyT. (See Important Notes)
    • Certificate by the Ministry of Education in the Dominican Republic that validates high school diploma
    • For common subjects, students must hand in a subject's official program (for its validation)
    • Completed validation request (at the time of deposit)
    • Medical certificate for academic purposes
    • Receipt of Payment of the right to admission (non-refundable)
    • Two portrait photos size 2 x 2 inches
    • Original birth certificate apostilled / legalized Dominican Consulate and Chancellery in the Dominican Republic (See Important Notes)
    • Spanish level test for foreigners who have not studied in a Spanish-speaking country (mandatory to continue the admissions process).

    Important

      You can send a proof of residence issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) and that it shows that it is valid for 4 years or more.
    • Foreigners with Dominican parents, must deliver the original birth certificate of any of them.
