René Grullón Finet
Industrial Engineer from PUCMM, with a Master's degree in Business Administration from Babson College. In addition, it had a participation, in the year 2011, in the Advanced Management Program (AMP) of the LESE, Barcelona, in agreement with Barna Management School. He has worked at the Banco Popular Dominicano since 1992, performing different functions and currently occupying the position of senior executive vice president of National and International Business.
In his 27 years of banking experience, Mr. René Grullón Finet has been involved in important initiatives in the Dominican Popular Bank, among which his participation in the creation of customer segmentation (2002), the strengthening of the management of risks and implementation of customer credit classification schemes (2004) and the creation of the Risk Committee of the Board of Directors (2006). And more recently, he was responsible for supporting the VPE of Comprehensive Risk Management in strengthening cyber risk management and information security practices (2018).
Meanwhile, as part of his professional career, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Dominican Development Foundation (FDD). He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Merchants of Santiago (ACIS) and in 2016 became part of the Business Advisory Council of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
He is a member of the Board of Regents of INTEC since the 2019.
