Doctor of Medicine, Robiou Kranwinkel graduated from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) in 1987 with a minor in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Hospital Salvador B. Gautier (1993). He has studies in Clinical Research Methodology; Hip and Pelvis surgery, and joint replacements, Teaching Management, Teaching Certification, Teaching Evaluation from the Competency Approach, among others.

He has developed his teaching experience at the graduate level, teaching the subjects Clinical Anatomy and Orthopedics and Traumatology at the UNPHU, where he has worked since 1992, and where he coordinated the Orthopedics and Traumatology of premed and med students.

At INTEC, he teaches the subject Orthopedics and Traumatology and coordinates the practical rotations and services of the subject; also coordinates the medical rotation of that area in the surgical boarding school since 1996. Additionally, Robio Kranwinkel has organized and participated in national and international congresses and presented research works in the areas of orthopedics and traumatology. He is a member of the Latin American Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology, and of other local and international organizations that group specialists in this field.
